LIQUITEX MODELLING PASTE - 946ML (32OZ), ACRYLIC MARBLE PUTTY
An acrylic and marble putty for building texture on rigid supports and creating three-dimensional forms. Liquitex Modelling Paste adds sculptural texture and structure to your work, drying to a very hard, stone-like matte surface that you can sand, drill, or carve once fully dry.

HOW TO USE:
- For use with acrylic colour/mediums only, on rigid supports only
- Apply with a palette knife, trowel, or sculpting tool; tint with acrylic colour before application if desired
- Can be handled like clay - remove the lid and let water slowly evaporate to reach your desired texture
- Build texture in thin layers, no more than a quarter-inch thick, allowing each to dry before adding more
- Dry slowly under loose plastic wrap to prevent shrinkage cracks; fill any cracks with another thin layer once dry
- Ensure fully dry before sanding, carving, or drilling
- As a ground: apply a thin layer, dry, sand smooth, and repeat as needed
- For an absorbent ground: mix 1 part paste with 3 parts Liquitex Gesso
- For flexible supports, use Flexible Modelling Paste, or mix 50/50 with a Gloss/Matte Gel
- Can be mixed with acrylic-compatible powdered pigments or aggregates for added texture
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Do not use with non-acrylic compatible media
- Drying too quickly may cause cosmetic (not structural) cracks
- Do not use on flexible supports unless mixed with another medium
